This training program has been designed to provide Virginia plumbers with 3 hours of required continuing education. The course includes a review of Sanitary Drainage, Venting, and then expands on those chapters with a hands-on isometric drawing demonstration that walks you through the basic process of laying out an isometric drawing.

This disclaimer is to notify all Virginia tradesmen attendees that currently the VA Board for Contractors has not adopted the 2017 NEC Code Update / 2015 HVA/GFC and PLB codes for continuing education requirements. However, while the Board for Contractors is recognizing 2011 and 2014 NEC and 2012 PLB, HVA and GFC codes this course has been approved and will be accepted as part of the education requirement for license renewal.

2018 International Fuel and Gas Code: Chimneys, Vents and Specific Appliances
Instructor: Randy Drake
The International Fuel Gas Code® (IFGC®) establishes minimum requirements for plumbing systems using prescriptive and performance-related provisions. It is founded on broad-based principles that make possible the use of new materials and new plumbing designs. This course will review the basic provisions for chimneys, vents and specific appliances. Participants will gain an understanding of how these requirements apply to design, plan review and inspection.
