5-Hour Plumbing Inspector Code Update

This course will review the Skilled Trades regulations Act PA 407 2016, provide explanations of how the code book is written and how best to navigate it, changes to the Michigan Plumbing Code, and review of Michigan rules.

Plumbing licensees must complete five hours of an approved code update course within one year of the adoption of a new edition of the plumbing code. This course will review the Skilled Trades Regulation Act PA 407 2016, provide explanations of how the code book is written, changes to the Michigan Plumbing Code, and review of Michigan rules. PA 407 went into effect April 4, 2017.

Ken Nightlinger is a respected and well-known instructor and inspector in southern Michigan. He has served as an Inspector for Plumbing, Fire Protection, and Mechanicals and as a Plan Reviewer. Ken is an adjunct instructor at Baker College, and currently, owns Michigan Code Training and Inspection Services.
